Welcome!
I would like to welcome you to the San Diego United STEPS program web page.  This site will help guide you through this program by providing all of the information you will need.  It is very important that you stay up to date with times, events, locations, outside workouts, and training strategies in the program in order to produce the best results, and this web site will help you do so.  First, please look through all of the pages and become familiar.

STEPS is designed specifically for soccer athletes that compete at a high level.  It is meant to not only increase one’s overall muscle strength and endurance, but also increase overall power and speed.  Using a variety of innovative activities, you will find yourself running faster, jumping higher,  and feeling stronger.  It is up to YOU!  The more work you put into the program, the more you will get out of it.  Good Luck!

It is important to take notes on the cycles of training.  Players should never over train.  There is a fine line between doing the bare minimum and doing to much.  Finding that balance will be different for everyone.  Read what you body is telling you.
